A group of three novelty globes
the first, a small terrestrial globe engraved on faux ivory with a faux ivory stand and brass mounts and detailed with the major continents, a compass rose, some explorer tracks and other details. The second, a 6 in. a terrestrial globe circa 1927, on a canted metal angle arm on brown-patinated cast-iron tripod base. The earth is dissected into eight horizontal slices parallel to the equator. Six of the removable sections of this 6-inch terrestrial globe have inset puzzles of the continents comprised of numerous removable jigsaw pieces. The third, in the form of an armillary, Italian, 20th century, with a central globe made up of twelve printed gores, and a brass armillary with a central paper horizon band.
