A pair of Armillary Spheres
A Ptolemaic iron armillary sphere, of typical form, with bands representing equator, tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, enclosed with zodiac band, and with disc representation of the earth at the center, the horizon band supported by four quadrants, the stand with central baluster standard ending in round base. Along with a Copernican iron armillary sphere, of typical form, with bands representing the orbits of the planets in half meridian, and with spherical representation of the sun at the center, on tripod base with downswept legs.
