PAUL PERNOT Domaine Paul Pernot et Fils is situated in Puligny-Montrachet and is well known for its Premier Cru Folatières, which many consider as the best from the vineyard. The domaine is the largest owner in the Folatières vineyard. The domaine also produces delicious and powerful Bâtard-Montrachet and Bienvenues Bâtard- Montrachet. Paul is assisted by his sons, Paul-Marc and Michel, and they prefer subtle oak flavours in the wines, which enables the fruit flavours to come to the fore. Pernot only bottles approximately 20 of the production from the 19 hectare estate, although the domaine has been acquiring vineyard plots in recent years which mean that the quantity available has been rising.
