Tasting Note: Made from Antinori's Belvedere estate along the Tuscan coast, this blend of 60 Cabernet Sauvignon and 40 Merlot was aged 14 months in oak casks. The wine boasts a knock-out nose of pain grille, blackcurrants, liquorice, and sweet, jammy cherry fruit. It is concentrated and medium-bodied, with a thick, juicy, succulent personality, and copious glycerin and sweet tannin in the long finish. Although accessible, it promises to evolve for 7-8 years.
