A Chinese gilt-bronze, jadeite and mother-of-pearl belt buckle, 19th century
each section inset with a jadeite rectangular plaque of white tone with spinach-green inclusions, carved with geometric and lingzhi-fungus patterns, within gilt bronze settings incised with foliate floral ground, the heart-shaped hook inset with mother-of-pearl -- overall 4in. (11.6cm.) wide.
