A Tibetan bronze figure of Mahakala, 18th/19th Century
the Dharmapala modelled standing in pratyalidhasana in a ten-armed form, holding a kartrika and kapala in his principal hands, the others holding various Buddhistic attributes, a figure of Ganesh seated to his feet, before a flaming mandarla - 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) high, wood stand; a bronze figure of Amitayus, seated in dhyanasana, holding an alms bowl, wearing incised decorated robes over his left shoulder; and a bronze model of a seated lama, holding lotus sprays in both hands, remains of gilt decoration.
