each recumbent cat poised with its head turned slightly to the right, its tail curled around the side, the neck collar with a bell and a top knot, decorated with roundels enclosing geometric patterns, gilt crescents, variously shaped forms and blossoms, all reserved on a textured black ground, the undersides unglazed -- 7 3/8in.
