A Koami School Four-Case Lacquer Inro
Edo period (19th century), signed Koami Choko and Masatsune on an inlaid metal reserve (for the metalwork)
Designed in gold and silver hiramaki-e and kirigane and mura-nashiji on a roiro-nuri ground with a large fighting cock applied in shakudo, gold and copper, the reverse with a large cage for the bird; fitted with a coral bead ojime and a wood manju netsuke carved with cloud patterns
