Bernard Dugat started to produce his own wine in 1975 and started to bottle his own wines in 1989. He has quickly built up a fine reputation as one of the finest growers on the Côte de Nuits. He describes his winemaking as very natural and not interventionist - no chemicals are used in the vineyatrds, all picking is by hand and the wines are not fined or filtered. All the wines offered in this collection are aged in 100 new oak except for Coeur du Roy and Vieilles Vignes cuvées with see between 35 and 65R
