Woven with damask double dragon roundels, each dragon with five claws denoting Imperial rank, the end woven with seven characters reading, Wu Yuan Chang Tai Ji ben zhi, referring to the name of the workshop where the silk was woven, the silk of rich egg-yolk-yellow tone

Provenance
Acquired by Frigate Captain Roman Junowicz during the Boxer Rebellion in 1900 and subsequently taken to Austria.
