Tasting note: Medium-deep, 'warm', mature, with a touch of ruby; very good, rich, figs, raisiny fruit; very sweet, full flavoured, soft, fleshy, 'hot' finish. Lovely wine at peak. M.B.
Medium colour, marginally deeper then th '63. Hot and earthy aroma with obvious weight and extract. Rich, full-flavoured, fairly sweet and hefty. Firm. D.E.
