St. Jerome in a Landscape
engraving, 1606, on laid paper with an elaborate coat of Arms watermark, a very good impression of this unrecorded print (not in Hollstein nor in Leblanc), with thread margins, uneven and trimmed to the borderline at places along the lower sheet edge, with a central vertical drying crease supported verso, with a 10 mm. split at the lower sheet edge, the lower left corner lacking, the lower right corner re-attached, some flattened creases towards the upper centre of the subject, a 25 mm. repaired tear at the left sheet edge, and another 20 mm. repaired tear at the lower sheet edge
