A Mongolian repousse silver ewer and cover, 19th century
of flattened form with a dragon-head handle, the spout issuing from the mouth of a mythical beast, inlaid turquoise to the tip, the domed cover with floral finial attached to the handle with a sturdy link chain, the central roundel with a seated immortal and animals surrounded by flowering foliage, a troupe of animals including elephant and monkey to the reverse side, both bordered by eight cartouches containing the Buddhist Emblems -- 10.7in. (27.7cm.) high.
