The 9¾ in. square cut away brass dial with Indian mask spandrels to chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, matted centre applied with plaque signed Edw. Gratrex/Birmingham, cut steel hands, the movement with four ringed pillars, anchor escapement and strike on bell, on replaced seatboard; pendulum, single weight
