With a vase-shaped finial above an acanthus and swagged laurel-cast case, the enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, the dial signed 'FERDINAND BERTHOUD', the works to interior signed 'Ferdinand Berthoud A Paris', the back with scratched numerals, inscribed in black ink '55-227' and stamped 'DOUANE CENTRALE...PARIS' and with a paper label inscribed in red ink 'MN128', lacking further swagged elements beneath dial and to urn, and with consequential holes
