LATE 18TH CENTURY, LARGELY LATER MOUNTED
With a shaped grey-veined white marble top above one smaller, fitted drawer and two larger drawers, flanked by fluted uprights and raised on tapering feet, the underside to marble marked in black chalk 'No. 310' and bearing a paper label marked 'Commode LXVI', some of the mounts variously inscribed and stamped with numbers and letters, the handles probably original and re-gilt
