Modelled as deer surmounted by gu-shaped vases with lingzhi terminating in a pricket, the stands decorated with panels of flowers and religious ceremonial objects, 35.5 cm. high; a Chinese bronze censer modelled as an elephant with head turned sideways, surmounted by a pagoda, 36.5 cm. high; a Japanese lacquered pear-shaped vase with wide wavy rim, some losses to the lacquer, 46.7 cm. high; and a bronze Persian vase incised with a battle scene, 37 cm. high (5)
