Plain rectangular, mounted with a Royal Fusiliers cap badge over a "window" filled with a strip of ribbon in the regimental colours of crimson over blue, the blue leather backs with hinged strut & each containing an evocative contemporary photograph of a young officer of the regiment posing in the trenches, 7¾ in. long (19.7 cm.).
