A 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER & CLOISONNE ENAMEL CHARKA,
MARK OF PAVEL OVCHINNIKOV, "91" STANDARD, MOSCOW, 1875,
Decorated with bands of white beads inside & out, further bands of emerald green tongue motifs outside & alternate black & turquoise tongue motifs centred by yellow beads inside, basket-weave rim, the sides inside & out with foliate scrollwork in black, white, turquoise, lime green & emerald green, the interior with central turquoise sunburst panel, itself centred by a small black & lime green quatrefoil motif, 2¾ in. diameter (7 cm.).
