California Baroque: the Eye of R.M. Barokh (lots 230-304) The following group of furniture, objets d'art and tapestries come from the gallery and private collection of R.M. Barokh. Opening on the Kings Road in London in 1973, Ronnie Barokh moved his business in 1979 to Santa Barbara, California and then in 1989 to the renowned Melrose Place in Los Angeles. Ronnie now passionately continues his business in a gallery just off Melrose Place, emphasizing 17th and 18th Century Italian and Continental furniture and works of art. The eye of R.M. Barokh epitomizes California antiquarian style, combining eclectic and rich objects with the ease of modern living.
