A MARBLE BUST OF A YOUTHFUL DIONYSOS
POSSIBLY ROMAN
With lidded, almond-shaped eyes, hair drawn back in a fillet, with tresses falling onto each shoulder, mounted, 7¾ in. (19.5 cm.) high; a painted terracotta figure of a draped female, her swept back hair held by a stephane; and a terracotta standing figure of winged Eros, his right leg leaning against a tree stump, possibly Hellenistic, 3rd-1st Century B.C., both 11¼ in. (28.5 cm.) high (3)
