A ROMAN TERRACOTTA FIGURE OF WINGED EROS
CIRCA 2ND CENTURY A.D.
Wearing a double-plumed crown, standing on the back of a bridled dolphin, the tall integral base with a raised relief scene of three dancing erotes; and a Graeco-Egyptian pottery lagynion vessel neck fragment in the form of two negro busts, male and female, an Ionic capital moulded on the reverse between their heads, spout with everted rim emerging from the top of their heads, with small loop handles on either side, one now missing, circa 2nd-1st Century B.C.
8 in. (20.2 cm.) and 2 in. (5 cm.) high respectively (2)
