Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1953 and its subsequent sale on April 14th of the following year.

According to our research, this watch has never before appeared at auction.

Patek Philippe commenced production of the reference 2483 in 1950 with the caliber 12-120. This first series was followed in 1952 by a second edition featuring the caliber 12-400. The present watch represents one of only 4 yellow gold examples of the second series known to the market.
