Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe cardboard slipcase, leather envelope and certificate.

To the best of our knowledge, the present watch has never before appeared at auction.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 3796 from 1982 until at least 1999 as a replacement for the reference 96. The only difference between this model and its predecessor is the addition of the sapphire crystal.
