Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1954 and its subsequent sale on July 27th of the following year.

According to our research, the present watch has never before appeared at auction.

Patek Philippe commenced production of the reference 2451, the "Aquatic Calatrava", in 1949 and continued its manufacture until at least 1959. This watch represents one of only approximately 18 examples known to the market.
