Cal. 12-400 nickel-finished lever movement stamped twice with the seal of Geneva, 18 jewels, mono-metallic compensation balance, micrometer regulator, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, metal dust cover, silvered matte dial with applied baton numerals, subsidiary seconds, circular water-resistant-type case with stepped bezel and down-turned lugs, case, dial and movement signed, with 18k gold associated bracelet and clasp, stamped CB

Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1954 and its subsequent sale on October 15th of the following year.

According to our research, the present watch has never before appeared at auction.

Patek Philippe released the second series of the reference 2483 in 1952, two years after the model's initial debut. This watch represents one of approximately only 10 second series pieces in pink gold known to the market.
