Set with a cushion-cut sapphire, weighing approximately 9.98 carats, flanked on either side by a pear-shaped diamond, to the pavé-set diamond gallery and hoop, mounted in platinum
With report CS 32156 dated 19 August 1998 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that although the sapphire exhibits certain characteristics associated with Burma (Myanmar), the Laboratory cannot definitively eliminate Ceylon (Sri Lanka) as a possible country of origin. No gemological evidence of heat induced appearance modification present
