Set with a cut-cornered modified rectangular-cut ruby, weighing approximately 5.01 carats, flanked on either side by a half moon-cut diamond, to the circular-cut diamond half-hoop, mounted in platinum and 18k gold, with maker's mark

With report GRS2005-050977 dated 25 May 2005 from the GRS GemResearch Swisslab stating that gemmological testing revealed characteristics corresponding to those of a natural ruby from Burma (Myanmar). Enhanced by heat, minor residues are present (within fissures only)
