The rectangular carnelian case centering upon a jadeite rectangular plaque set with the intials 'E.T.' in rose-cut diamonds, trimmed by black enamel, each terminal enhanced by a carved jadeite dragon within a rose-cut diamond and black enamel frame, the diamond pushpiece, opening to reveal a mirror-covered compartment, the reverse set with a fitted ivory writing tablet and gold pencil, two closed compartments and lipstick holder, mounted in 18k gold, circa 1925, 3¾ x 1 5/8 x 1½ ins., with French assay marks and maker's marks, in a Charlton & Co. green leather fitted case
