Each with glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, one bearing a brass plaque 'THIS BOOKCASE FORMS PART OF A PRESENTATION MADE IN 1929 BY HIS FRIENDS IN THE LORDS AND COMMONS TO THE RT.HON. SIR WILLIAM BULL BT. ON HIS RETIRING FROM PARLIAMENT AFTER 29 YEARS SERVICE : AT THE SUGGESTION OF THE COMMITTEE THE BALANCE WAS USED IN MAKING FOUR BOOKCASES FOR HIS FOUR SONS, THIS IS STEPHEN'S'
