The preliminary study for this, in the same sense though apparently not incised, is in the Kunsthalle, Hamburg (Schnackenburg, op.cit., no. 70). Following Godefroy, Schnackenburg erroneously described this plate as dated 1654 (op.cit., p. 46), while Slatkes dates it to circa 1654.
