SIGNED IBRAHIM AL-TABRIZI, ISFAHAN, LATE 17TH CENTURY
Gouache on buff paper, a lady stands, cross legged and balancing on one foot, holding around her a green veil, to her left is inscribed Raqam-e kamtarin Ibrahim al-Tabrizi, surrounded by four calligraphic panels and set within green margin on a cream paper border with bold part-arabesques and sections of black nasta'liq verse within further margins of gold, red and blue, and laid down on a pink page decorated in pink with meandering floral vine and two central peacocks, mounted, framed and glazed
