The kings and queens as Sikh princes, the bishops as camel heads, the knights as horses, the rooks as elephant heads, the pawns as foot soldiers, on lotus leaf carved bases, one side stained green
The king -- 3½in. (9cm.) high; the pawn -- 2in. (5cm.) high overall
