A QAJAR SILVER REPOUSSE TRAY, IRAN, 19TH CENTURY
Of oval form, with gently sloping sides and scalloped rim, the central cartouche featuring a courtly scene, the upper register with a ruler and his courtiers and the lower a ruler on horseback, scenes of the hunt either side, the sides a series of twelve lobed ovals with figural Persepolitan scenes, owner's name ... Mustafa ... to bottom right - 15in. (38cm.) wide
