A KUTHAYA TURQUOISE GLAZED POTTERY CUP AND TWO SAUCERS, TURKEY, 19TH CENTURY
The cup of bowl shape form with rounded sides, applied ball circle decoration to sides, the whole painted in black tree motifs with four in a cross within the applied circles, diagonal lines to rim - opening 3 3/4in. (9.5cm.) diam; and two saucers, one with line decoration, a flower at centre and cross-hatched band around rim; the other with six-petalled flower and leaf band around rim - larger 5 5/8cm. (14.5cm.) diam
