One with pierced moulded galleried hexagonal top above a turned stop-fluted column on a spirally-fluted urn-shaped shaft, on cabriole legs and pointed pad feet, the other with rectangular pierced gallery above a spirally-fluted baluster shaft, above acanthus-headed cabriole legs, on claw-and-ball feet

A tripod table closely-related to the hexagonal table offered here was sold anonymously, Christie's, London, 27 April 2006, lot 287, and another, sold anonymously, Sotheby's, London, 22 February 1991, lot 248. Tripod tables with similar rectangular tops were sold from the Dufferin & Ava Collection, Christie's, London, 25 March 1999, lot 432, and another, sold by, John and Frances L. Loeb, Christie's, New York, 17 October 1997, lot 383.
