MID-18TH CENTURY, TRACES OF BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK TO COCK BIRD
Modelled by J.J. Kändler, the cock with its tail displayed, with a blue head, red comb and wattles and a white plumage with brown and black markings, the hen with a similarly-coloured head, purple plumage with black markings and grey speckled wings, both perched astride tree-stump supports on green mound bases
The cock bird 2 5/16. in. (5.9 cm.) high; the hen 2 in. (5.1 cm.) high (2)
