Levels: two 2cm; one lightly bin soiled label; one cut capsule for inspection revealed a proper vintage and vineyard branded cork
"Golden color followed by a monster nose of white flowers and this is just now beginning to show its age aromatically that leads to very rich, deep, sweet, dense, wonderfully long flavors and the breed of Montrachet is unmistakable. This is flat out the best 1984 white burgundy I have ever tasted. I would be drinking this now and over the next few years as even a wine as good as this cannot escape the limitations of the vintage.
