Accompanied by Patek Philippe Certificat d'Origine et de Garantie stamped Guillermin & Mollet, 16, Place Vendôme, Paris, signed J. Guillermin and dated 30 September 1967. Furthermore delivered with the Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1962 and its subsequent sale on 12 November 1963 and red leather presentation box.
Reference 1463 was introduced into the market in 1940 and remained in production until 1965.
The present watch is from the third series of reference 1463, made as of around 1961 and fitted with a clearer dial design, omitting the "chemin de fer" or "railway" five minute divisions and using only baton numerals instead of the baton and Arabic layout of the earlier versions. It stands furthermore out by its excellent overall condition, the rarity enhanced by the original certificate, stamped by Patek Philippe's prestigious retailer Guillermin& Mollet in Paris.
