Signed Bovet Fleurier, No. 605, circa 1819
With finely engraved and chased floral decorated gilt-finished movement, duplex escapement, bimetallic three arm balance with wedge-shaped blued steel weights, engraved floral decorated cuvette, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, gilt spoon hands, sweep centre seconds, in large circular case with pearl-set bezel, pendant and bow, the pink enamel reverse with pearl-set rim and centred by a painted polychrome enamel scene depicting a bouquet of flowers, movement signed and numbered, case numbered 601 and stamped with Exeter assay marks and date letter for 1819

Accompanied by a later gilt key depicting a hand, the top enclosing the black and white image of a nude lady visible through a peephole.
