C.9721 finely hand-engraved gilt-finished lever movement, 32 jewels, glazed dust cover, the silvered dial with Roman numerals, aperture for phases of the moon combined with lunar calendar, three subsidiary dials indicating day, date and month combined with constant seconds, in plain circular case with hinged back, case, dial and movement signed
56 mm. diam.

The present watch is number 34 of a limited series of 100 examples of reference 5500 in 18K gold made in 1977. The moonphase disk is made of 18K gold, depicting the moon against a starry sky of goldstone. Shown with great accuracy, the moonphase requires adjustment only every three years.
