CH 27-70 Q nickel-finished lever movement stamped with the Geneva seal, 24 jewels, Gyromax balance, free sprung regulator, the silvered matte dial with applied stainless steel baton numerals, stainless steel feuille hands, two windows for day and month, three subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds combined with 12 hours register, 30 minutes register combined with leap year indicator, date combined with phases of the moon, in circular water-resistant-type case with glazed screw display back, downturned fluted lugs, two rectangular-shaped chronograph buttons in the band, 18K white gold Patek Philippe deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, solid 18K white gold screw back numbered 4'315'112, white gold and wooden setting pin, wooden presentation box and outer packaging. Consigned by the original owner this watch has never been offered in public before.

Reference 5970 was introduced into the market at the Basel Fair in April 2005 and replaced the celebrated reference 3970.

The model immediately enjoyed enormous popularity amongst collectors and is available in white gold or pink gold only.
