Hand-coloured etched title-vignette and 60 hand-coloured aquatint plates (title a little stained and with a few repairs at creased fore-margin, a little light spotting and offsetting, short marginal tear in plate 38). Contemporary maroon straight-grained morocco, gilt spine, gilt floral and foliate border and a blindstamped border round sides, gilt edges (head and foot of spine and corners a little rubbed). FIRST EDITION, third issue with backgrounds coloured and plates watermarked 1823. Abbey Scenery 430; Tooley 388.
