A VERY LARGE SECTIONAL CINNABAR LACQUER INLAID MODEL OF A BOAT
JIAQING (1796-1820)
Each side inset with a lapis lazuli carving of a writhing dragon chasing a jade flaming pearl amongst cloud scrolls, the top surmounted with various sections with galleried and domed roofs and variously shaped apertures forming the windows, all carved with dragons and bats amongst clouds reserved on geometric pattern grounds, supported by a rectangular shaped stand, the top tier simulating crashing waves, all above stepped sections carved with scrolling lotus within key-fret borders
