KANGXI (1662-1722)
With gently curving sides, boldly and brightly enamelled with mounted warriors in combat, each bearing a halberd and attended by flag-bearers, being watched from behind a hillock by a general and his standard-bearer, all within a floral cell and trellis-pattern band reserved with ribboned emblems in cartouches, the underside with an underglaze blue square sealmark
18 3/8 in. (46.8 cm.) diam.
