A FAMILLE VERTE BOWL
KANGXI (1662-1722)
The deep bowl thinly potted with steep rounded sides rising from a high straight foot to an everted rim, the exterior enamelled in vibrant tones with two birds among prunus and bamboo, the interior with a peony in the medallion below a border of floral cartouches reserved on a cell-pattern ground around the rim, the base with an underglaze blue Xuande six-character mark within a double circle
