A 19TH-CENTURY TWO-DAY MARINE CHRONOMETER BY RICHARD HORNBY
the 3½in. silvered dial signed and numbered Richd Hornby. Liverpool No. 1007, gold hands, subsidiary seconds and up/down dial, Earnshaw escapement, blued helical balance spring, balance with heat compensation weights and Pooles auxiliary, set within a gimballed brass bowl within mahogany box with numbered maker's plate and drop handles -- 7in. (18cm.) square.
