Tasting note: Outstanding vintage and wine from the cellars of one of the oldest families in Madeira, the Acciaiolis, sold at Christie's in 1989. Cork branded "Oscar Acciaioli". Amber-gold; high-toned, refined exquisite flavour and great length. One of my favourites of the Acciaioli range I tasted prior to cataloguing in April 1989. M.B.
