A REGENCY SILVER AND GLASS CRUET STAND
MARK OF PAUL STORR, LONDON, 1818
Oval, set on four acanthus and scroll feet, with a reeded and grapevine border with acanthus scroll terminals, the central frame with lion's-mask supports, set with six cut-glass bottles with silver mounts, the central standard with leaf-clad heart-form handle, each end of base engraved with a Baron's armorials, marked under base, frame, and each mount, one mount 1810, one 1813
9 in. (22.8 cm.) high; 30 oz. 10 dwt. (950 gr.) weighable silver
The arms are those of Hill, as borne by Thomas Noel-Hill, 2nd Baron Berwick of Attingham (1770-1832).
