A rare original black and white still photograph from King Kong, 1933, by Ernest Bachrach, the gelatin silver photograph of King Kong pulling Ann Darrow [Fay Wray] and Jack Driscoll [Bruce Cabot] back up to his lair, with photographer's ink-stamp credit and R.K.O. stamp to verso and typescript description affixed to verso reading TRAPPED. The monstrous 50-foot ape which is the central character in RKO-Radio Pictures' epic "King Kong", soon to be released, is here seen lifting Fay Wray and Bruce Cabot back up to his lair after the two had attempted an escape... -- 13¾x10¾in.
